This movie is so dumb, yet believes so strongly in its zany choices that the effect is, at times, quite charming. Who gave this French Boomer so much money?

Came out within a narrow span of time that included Mortal Engines, Ready Player One, Alita Battle Angle, and Jupiter Ascending. All very similar movies. The last gasp of massive budgets on weird auteur boomers who are very creative in one way but exceptionally stupid in most others. Alita Battle Angel probably the best of the lot, though this one has its charms.
